R32 refrigerant
TOSHIBA uses the R32 refrigerant for HOME applications. With a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 675, this is much lower than the standard R410A refrigerant which has a GWP of 2088. R32 is more energy efficient and has a significantly better heat transfer capacity than R410A. An air conditioning system can thus achieve an approximately 60% higher power with the same charge.
