The benefits of an
air-to-water heat pump

ESTIA air-to-water heat pumps reduce CO2 emissions considerably and actively contribute toward climate protection.

As it is so easy to install, this air-source heat pump is the most affordable of all the heat pumps. The operating costs are also extremely low, as air is used as the main heat source. By installing fancoils, the system can also be used for highly efficient cooling.

All-in-One

The ESTIA All-in-One allows domestic hot water to be heated and prepared in one unit and is highly suited to all modern heating circuits with low supply water temperatures.

Heat pump with Hydrobox

The Hydrobox from TOSHIBA is a part of the air-to-water heat pump and is used in heating and cooling systems. This technology uses the surrounding air as an energy source for heating or cooling by recovering or radiating the thermal energy contained in it. The Hydrobox is intended as a hydraulic interface between the outdoor unit of the heat pump and the water circuit of the house – be it for underfloor heating, radiators, or for hot water preparation.

Heat pump for preparing domestic hot water

You can operate hot water heat pumps independently from your heating system, meaning that the heat pump is limited to preparing your hot water. This means that the heating system does not have to be in operation, particularly during the summer months.

Domestic hot water heat pumps are only intended to provide hot water, but cannot generate any energy for heating. Domestic hot water heat pumps have their own water tank, generally with a capacity of around 270 – 300 liters; there are also models with up to 500 liters of net capacity.

Accessories for heat pumps:
a variety of products for all requirements

A heat pump's full potential only becomes apparent when suitable accessories are used, in particular intelligent control systems. State-of-the-art control systems for heat pumps are true all-rounders. They dynamically adapt the heat pump output to the actual demand and therefore ensure maximum efficiency. Thanks to intelligent networking with other household components, such as a photovoltaic system or the smart home system, the energy supply can be optimally controlled. For example, excess solar power is preferably used to operate the heat pump, which further reduces energy costs and improves the carbon footprint.

In addition to control systems, the accessories for heat pumps also include elements such as the external, wired control unit or various monitors and temperature sensors. Integration of building management systems, group control for up to 8 units, and external control via 0 – 10 volt signals are also available.

Regardless of what requirements you have, our extensive range of accessories offers the perfect solution. You can find the relevant product groups on the detailed pages. Simply choose what you need to boost your comfort.
