Industrial technology meets urban comfort

Anyone, like the trendy restaurant and nightlife chain Soulkitchen, who wants to appeal to the restaurant visitors of tomorrow has to bring about an exciting contrast between the loft feeling and on-trend food alongside creating a place where the air conditioning solution can ensure an excellent quality of life in both summer and winter.

At its site at "Innsbrucker Hafen", right next to the WIFI campus of the Austrian Economic Chambers for Tyrol, the biggest challenge was reconciling the aesthetic appeal with the needs of today. In collaboration with the Tivoli Plan planning office, a TOSHIBA VRF system with around 54 kW of cooling capacity and 63 kW of heating capacity was installed under the expert guidance of the specialist company Edmund Sparer Klima & Kältetechnik GmbH. Since it had to be adapted to be as inconspicuous as possible in relation to the existing interior architecture during full operation, the team decided to use a special traffic gray paint as a recurring style element in order to tastefully match the units to the surroundings. In the same line, the piping was coated with deep black protective tubing and installed right throughout the almost 1000 m² premises.
