The classic comfort concept

Business solutions, EDMUND SPARER GmbH

An architectural office wants to meet the particular needs of the staff working there – and not just aesthetic concerns. Only the best is good enough at the well-known Imgang architectural office in downtown Innsbruck, which is why they opted for a TOSHIBA solution – installed to be almost invisible by our partner Edmund Sparer Klima & Kältetechnik GmbH.

Architectural office in downtown Innsbruck

Minimal space needed

All your senses come alive when entering the well-known Imgang architectural office in central Innsbruck. An elegant type of purism dominates the space, creating a calm working atmosphere which is only broken by the quiet sound of staff talking on the phone or planes flying overhead. The indoor temperature creates a harmonious environment both when sitting and walking about the premises.

Although the office feels so light and airy, all those involved were faced with a big challenge when the company moved in back in 2015. Once the existing TOSHIBA system was removed, installing an air conditioning solution was an absolute must due to the high temperatures in summer. However, the architects didn't just want the perfect air conditioning solution, but also wanted it to be integrated almost invisibly into the existing office design. They therefore worked out a system which required as little space as possible together with Edmund Sparer Klima & Kältetechnik GmbH. TOSHIBA air conditioners were installed within the 250 mm suspended ceiling height and the air outlets were designed with special slotted outlets to make use of the Coanda effect. A slot spanning 8.5 running meters was also installed in one of the offices which supplies the entire area uniformly with cooled air and fresh air. The sound made-to-measure approach combined with years of experience and peak technical performance from TOSHIBA was yet another major success.
