Yet Gishamer Maschinenbau GmbH, a specialist in the field of machine construction and automation for special systems, still decided to proceed with building its new site near Salzburg. It was of utmost importance to the company that it had a strong partner by its side to provide the best possible solution with regard to air conditioning and heating solutions, particularly during the construction phase. The requirements placed on the planning and installation company Hasenbichler GmbH weren't simple – air conditioning a production hall with as little draft as possible while also heating and cooling a 3-story office building with stylish indoor units.

The right decision

The decision was made to use multiple VRF systems from TOSHIBA. The 2-pipe outdoor unit SMMS-u provides maximum efficiency and reliability in the production hall and the 4 connected high-pressure duct units with air hoses ensure optimum air distribution in the room. A pleasant temperature-controlled climate also ensures productive working in the office area. Two SHRM 3-pipe systems in combination with multiple stylish yet effective cassette units were installed for this. An ESTIA heat pump with a heating capacity of 16 kW ensures cozy heat in the office space.

It is particularly important that air can circulate in small server rooms, such as that at Gishamer Holding GmbH, and that no server failures are caused due to heat. Hasenbichler GmbH opted for the perfect product here – a Digital Inverter with the R32 refrigerant.
