A high-quality indoor climate is an absolute must in any place of business – which is why the Tyrolean family-run company Miller Optics invested in TOSHIBA quality when carrying out a general renovation of their Wörgl branch, expertly carried out by our partner Edmund Sparer Klima & Kältetechnik GmbH.

Miller Optics Wörgl's corner store in a prominent location is close to the hearts of the company management as the second-oldest branch of the successful Tyrolean family-run business. This is why, besides a sustainable use of materials and an independent design language realized to an extremely high standard by the shopfitters Shop Crea, there was a particular focus on a high-quality indoor climate when carrying out the general renovation in 2017. The specialists from Edmund Sparer Klima & Kältetechnik installed a system combining air conditioning and ventilation, including an adapted duct unit as an air curtain for this purpose.
On the 1st floor, a TOSHIBA heat exchanger with 1,000 m³/h was used to ensure a constantly optimum indoor climate. In doing so, the supply air blows directly into the duct units, creating the option of pre-conditioning via the units.
The 2nd floor needed a custom solution, as the pipes could be routed directly into the suspended ceiling in the 1st floor. Together, the decision was made to install console units. A solution for supply and exhaust air was not necessary, as there were enough windows for ventilation.
