Perfect climate in the Klagenfurt old town

A remarkable TOSHIBA VRF project takes us to Klagenfurt old town.

The offices of the Klagenfurter Gesundheitsfond healthcare fund are located on the 6th floor across an area of 300 m². People work on financing fund-managed hospitals or managing financial resources for hardship relief in bright and friendly rooms.

Daniel Wodlei, product manager and project leader at KLÖTZL Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH., acknowledges the particular challenges posed by old town locations. A product which meets the requirements with its high level of flexibility, fantastic workmanship, and high power yield over the smallest possible area was needed in this case.

An SMMS-e outdoor unit on the flat roof provides reliable 45 kW cooling capacity and proves itself to be extremely suitable to a downtown location in terms of handling with its moderate weight and less than 1 m² installation space. A mix of two high-wall units and two 60x60 slim cassettes provide the cooling capacity in the office area. The employees appreciate the compactness and quiet operation of the units here as well as the customized operation via infrared remote controls.
