FRANZ OBERNDORFER GmbH & Co KG has a production site with around 100 employees in Völkermarkt. The family company with more than 100 years of experience is known as Austria's leading producer of precast concrete elements and offers innovative and holistic solutions from planning and production to transport and assembly.

The attractively designed office wing on the 1st floor immediately shows that there is no space for conspicuous devices or poor design in the air conditioning. This 200 m² area, consisting of individual offices, an open social area and a spacious meeting area, requires a climate concept that ideally does not have any influence on the rooms and interior. Daniel Wodlei was responsible for the project at KLÖTZL Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH, which was commissioned with the planning and execution. Actually, he would have liked to implement the required 30 kW cooling capacity via completely invisible duct devices. Unfortunately, the room heights and ceiling constructions with hardly any suspension upset his plans. High-wall units would definitely have disrupted the overall architectural concept. Therefore, the decision was made in favor of a solution with ten flat 1-way cassettes. The combination of high performance and low overall height with an inconspicuously attractive panel has proven to be perfect for this case. With just one louver, the TOSHIBA cassettes reach every corner without air draft - even in large conference rooms. Regarding controls, it was decided to use a simple and individual concept with individual infrared remote controls.
