Hello Mr. Zivkovic, what exactly do you do at TOSHIBA?

I'm mainly responsible field sales consultations in the West Austria region as well as organizational and sales support of the ESTIA service partner network across Austria.

Under what name can I find the app in the app store (and on what platforms is it available) and what can it be used for? Just for air conditioning systems or also for heat pumps, for example?

Our app is called "TOSHIBA Home AC Control" and is available for the iOS and Android operating systems. Voice-controlled modules such as Amazon Alexa and Google Play can also be integrated for voice control. A cooperation with Loxone also allows the user to integrate their domestic cooling or heating system into a central smart home solution.

Both air conditioning and heat pump control are carried out using the same application and allow the system operator to respond easily to every changing need with utmost comfort. The aim is to be able to operate all our systems from a single application in the future. For example, a business owner would be able to control all the units in their home and at their company from a single device.

The next generation of our product range supports this function. The energy monitoring option is directly on the main screen. Below this, the actual power consumption for operating the compressor is calculated and shown in kWh. You also have the option of saving your energy provider's tariff price, which you can use to access your actual consumption in the currency of your choice.

Can I control the temperature using my cell phone while on vacation to ensure I can return to a cool home?

Your personal user profile is saved in a cloud, meaning you can access the pre-set profile from other devices, even if your cell phone isn't working at the moment.
